Frequently asked questions
Q1. Does your restaurant take reservation?
A1. Yes we do. Please Note:
-
Reservations: All reservations will be canceled automatically after 15 minutes of your specified time. Please note we may not
accommodate a reservation for children party during our peak hours. We may also not accommodate a large party that requires
adjacent Hibachi tables during our peak hours.
-
Peak hours: Our peak hours are Friday 7:00 to 8:00; Saturday 6:00 to 8:30; Sunday 6:00 to 7:00.
-
Saturday nights: On Saturday nights we only take reservations for parties of six or more. Parties less than six will be seated on
a first come first served basis.
Q2. Can we reserve a full table but we are less than 8 people.
A2. Unfortunately we aren't able to save full tables for parties less than 8 people. If sitting alone with your party is a concern, we recommend that you come earlier in the night for a better chance of sitting alone. However our tables are designed to have you mingle with strangers. It’s a perfect opportunity for you to make new friends while dinning with us.
Q3. Does your restaurant use MSG.?
A3. At Inatome Japanese Steakhouse & Seafood, your meal is cooked right before your eyes. We believe great ingredients do not require any additives. However please note although manufactures do not list on their labels, soy sauce may contain a very small amount of MSG.
Q4. I’m Allergic to peanuts, shell fish. How do you serve my meal at Hibachi table?
A4. At Inatome Japanese Steakhouse & Seafood we take food allergies very seriously.
Peanuts: Although Chinese cuisine and some other South Pacific foods use peanuts, Japanese cuisine, in general, does not use peanuts or peanut oils. Therefore, at Inatome Japanese Steakhouse & Seafood we do not use peanuts in our meals.
Shell-fish: Shell-fish is a part of our top selling meals. If you are allergic to certain ingredients, please mention to our server and we will arrange to cook your meal before any of the shell fish are placed on the grill insuring that you will enjoy your meal with any concerns of your allergies.
Q5. Do you do so called Volcano or fire at your Hibachi table?
A5. We chose not to perform Volcano or fire at our restaurant as we believe in maintaining the authenticity of Japanese cuisine and continue to keep our 30+ years of tradition that focuses on serving great food combined with a true Japanese experience.
Although we understand kids might enjoy it, other Hibachi restaurants use inexpensive vodka to make fire which makes the food taste bitter and certainly not recommended for children. Also, by not performing these so-called "Volcano's or Fire" tricks at our table we insure the safety of all our customers. Majority of our customer appreciate and respect our stance.
Q6. Can I bring in my own cake to cerebrate a birthday or an occasion?
A7. We recommend our famous fried ice cream to celebrate any occasion. However if you wish to bring in a personalized cake, you are more than welcome to do so. Our staff will cut and serve your cake once you have finished your meal. Please note when you bring in your own cake we do not serve ice cream or sorbets that is included in our complete dinner or kids menu.
Q7. Can you allow substitutions or sharing plate?
A7. No. Our menus are fixed as our chefs and management work very hard to design menus for a complete and authentic Japanese experience based on customer preferences over the years. In the event that you would like to try some additional items, you can pick your choices from our extras / a la cart, listed on our menu. Also we are able to leave any items off the meal that you do not wish to eat however without a reduction in price.
Q8. Why do you have minimum charge?
A8. Minimum charge per seating at the dining table is $10.00. A Hibachi table has limited seating. By having a minimum charge per seating we are fully utilizing our seating capacity and minimize your waiting time.
Q9. Do you serve Sushi at your restaurant?
A9. Yes we serve Sushi roll as an appetizer portion. Please review our menu for more detail.
Q10. Can you request a chef or a server?
A10. All our chefs and servers are trained and very experienced. Each with their own unique character. We hope you enjoy all of our chefs and servers. However if you wish to request your chef or server, we will do our best to accommodate your request. However please understand it also depends on the timing and we can not guarantee his/her availability at the time.
Q11. Do you deliver?
A11. We do not deliver. We believe the best way to enjoy our food is to consume at our dining table. Your meal is prepared fresh at your table and served by a friendly chef and experienced service staff. So bring your family and friends and enjoy a unique experience here at Inatome Japanese Steakhouse & Seafood.
Q12. Do you have special menu for a large party?
A12. We can arrange a special menu for a party of 50 or more. For a party of less than 50, please pick choices from our regular menu. If you wish, we can arrange your choice prior to seating then our server can present your selection to your guests at the table.
Q13. How can I book for Wagyu Beef?
A13. The Wagyu beef is now available to you by special order. The legendary beef from Japan is for a party in intervals of 15 people with two weeks advance reservation required. However, from time to time, we run a Wagyu challenge event and we will notify you about events hosted via email. Be sure to register your email address for prompt notice.
Q14. Your dressing is great. Can you publish your recipe?
A14. We are often asked to mass produce our dressing to distributors at grocery stores. And it is true that our refreshing dressing is one of a kind. Our dressing and sauces are made of balanced ingredients. The key to making great products is its ingredients. We add many varieties of fresh vegetables, and lots of them! Also a touch of our tradition and add our love to it! That’s all we can tell you now. Sorry our recipe stays with us. Our sauces are available to purchase at our restaurant. Stop by and pick one or two up tonight. You can also try our homemade Teriyaki sauce. Enjoy it!
